Kim's in her room. She may have left for a moment to get something to eat but no one saw her in the bar and too much is still both familiar and not familiar at all.

But she's in her room now.

"I'm not sure, really."

He frowns and takes a seat. "Have you seen your father yet?"

The question confuses her for a moment and she glances up before realizing what he means. "Um, yeah, a few days ago."

He nods. "You don't still think he's a ghost, do you?"

She shakes her head, "I think he might be my dad's twin."

"Your father doesn't have a twin, Kim."

"I know that, but I can't think of any other explanation."

He shakes his head. "So does that mean I have a dead twin out there somewhere?"

"No...I...I can reconcile you easier."

"Because you didn't see me die?"

She nods, her expression pained.

"I can understand that." I think. "I don't know what to say."

"I...I don't think there's anything to say." She bites her lower lip, "I've been thinking about getting my memories erased."

He stares confusedly for a moment, before looking down. "I understand."

"Do you know anyone here who can?"

"A wizard...you'd have to ask around considering there's a lot of them here."

She nods, "That's what I figured."

"Are you gonna erase all of your memories or just the memories you had of the alternate universe?"

"I...I think I have to erase all of them."

"Why?"

"Because I can't tell. What's real from what's not."

He nods. "All right."

"How...how are you?"

"I'm good."

As good as someone being threatened with death can be.

"Good," they fall into awkward silence.
