Kim remembered she left a book in her room. So, when she woke up today she immediately decided to go get it. She's been staying with Chase, realizing that being alone won't make her feel any better.

In her mind, although she knows it's too soon, she's already started mourning. Audrey's refusal to answer her questions didn't help either since without a definitive scenario her imagination took over.

But she's trying not to think about it, trying not to imagine her dad dying in terrible pain, or helpless and slowly as she looks around the room for the book she's sure she put somewhere.
